These tools are used in a dynamic, innovative production organization where parts for shavers are made. In this position, you have the opportunity to Make an active contribution to the improvement of existing and new tools, in addition to solving malfunctions. The improvements will include safety, quality, efficiency and effectiveness of our tools and improvements in working methods within our own OTD organisation. This is a job in the fine mechanics with a lot of diversity in a 2-shift system. You are responsible for Performing preventive and corrective maintenance and solving process failures. You will do this based on the analysis of data, documentation, your own observations and conversations with MC (mini company) members.Making suggestions for improving resources and processes to the Maintenance Engineers.The technical condition of tools and maintenance standards.Learning away knowledge to increase the independence of the mini companies.Devise and implement improvements to tools to bring maintenance to a higher level. You make choices using your own experience and analysis.Working independently within existing procedures, methods and techniques that will not always be conclusive.Working to a high standard of safety within your work, for yourself and your colleagues. You’re part of A dynamic, operational team, consisting of technicians with different, complementary skills such as Maintenance Technician, All-round Mechanic and Mechanic, led by the Maintenance Manager. The team supports the production in a 2-shift cycle and works on improving the (work) processes in the workshop and optimizing the cooperation with the production departments. To be successful in this position, you must have the following skills and experience At least a completed technical MBO education at level 4 (preferably mechanical engineering).Minimum of 4 years relevant work experience in a maintenance environment or in the manufacturing industry.Developed knowledge in the field of precision mechanics.Knowledge of – and experience with – Lean Manufacturing, TPM and ICT systems is an advantage.You are proactive, driven and creative and you think in solutions.You can work with standards and regulations.You are fluent in Dutch and you can read English and German (at least) comprehensively.
